Great house to stay in, everything was immaculate. The locations was perfect. An easy flat walk into town, close to restaurants and the supermarket and iconic Apex bakery. The front of the house is in the old style, back of the house opens up into a modern, super nice family room with large kitchen area. The garden is stunning. We were there early spring and flowers were just coming out. Too cold for a BBQ, but in summer this would be amazing space to have a BBQ and a few wines. Beautiful cottage just off the main street of Tanunda. Great place to stay for a long weekend. Comfy beds, very clean with a great kitchen. Would highly recommend.
We spent a wonderful weekend at Basedow Haus. The house was beautiful and we really loved the kitchen and living area. The garden it looked out onto is really lovely and made you our stay feel very peaceful. The house is in a perfect location … only a couple of minutes walk to the Main Street of Tanunda. We would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for an amazing place to stay in the Barossa.
Oh my, what can we say about this beautiful Barossa home without going into superlative overdrive? The location is perfect. Tanunda is centrally located to every Barossa destination and the house itself is within toddling distance of great restaurants, a ridiculously good gin bar and a very gorgeous wine bar.
