What a disaster! I used this product for my terraces. After a few days it started cracking and now i have leakages everywhere. My suggestion would be to stay away from Basecrete. The product was applied by a specialised company, so my feeling is that there are problems with the product itself which is perhaps ok for swimming pools but can create serious problems on larger surfaces - at least that was my case, very regrettably. Basecrete Technologies has been a great company to work with over the past 5 plus years. The technical support has been fantastic. Highly recommend them for all waterproofing needs in and around swimming pools.
Basecrete came highly recommended by our Pool Builder “Blue Diamond Pools” in Shanty Bay, Ontario, Canada. In Ontario this year and last year we had days where the temperature started at -20 degrees C and the very next day the temperature was +10 degrees C. I was skeptical at first doing a concrete pool in Canada, but having Basecrete as an added layer of protection has helped ease my mind. We are through 2 winters now and our pool is as good as new.
