After our original VRBO canceled less than two weeks before our arrival, we were scrambling to find the perfect place for our (small) family gathering. This property was a little more than we originally planned to spend, but it was worth every single penny. From the moment we drove up the driveway, we knew we had found something special. This is truly an amazing and peaceful experience, if you’re going to relax and spend some time on the river or go out and explore this is the place for you!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
This was our second time staying at Basecamp Resort for Spring Break, and it continues to be a really special spot for our family. Our son is 4 now, so he was able to enjoy a lot more of the outdoor activities, and we felt more comfortable letting him explore a bit independently. The weather this time of year is hard to beat, perfect for our 3-night stay. We love the tents.
