I am with the Hudson Fire Departments Search and Rescue Team. I stayed here with my K9 assisting with the recovery efforts after the 4th of July floods. Our stay at Base camp was fantastic. The cabin was clean and roomy. The bed was comfortable, and the view over looking the pond from the porch was great. I really enjoyed returning to the cabin after a long day of searching and sitting on the porch with a glass of ice water. My wife and I spent a long weekend at Basecamp Resort in the Edgewater Tent. It's technically a tent but you'd never know it once you're inside. We both commented on how the pictures don't do it justice. The "tent" is gorgeous inside! It had everything you could want and was really nicely decorated. The bathroom was as nice as some of the really nice hotels we've stayed at. The kitchen area had everything we needed.
