I’ve been a loyal member of this gym for over 3 years and used to genuinely love it. Unfortunately, recent staff changes have made the experience at Basecamp far less enjoyable. The biggest issue, though, has been ongoing billing problems. I requested to cancel my membership in April and was told my final payment would be in May. Despite that, I’ve continued to be charged month after month. Please let me preface this by saying I have been an active member of Basecamp east Memphis since June 2024. During this time, I have enjoyed the classes and leadership under the previous manager. HOWEVER - new management/upper management has since changed my view entirely. At 5 months pregnant, I notified the gym that I would be pausing my membership after my anticipated due date of July 3rd. Basecamp is awesome. Great environment, great instructors. Highly recommend to anyone looking to push themselves.
