I would avoid buying any cars from this bloke unless you get a inspection elsewhere,, Old mate sells some flogged out pieces of crap. My apprentice brought a patrol from here it was clear from day dot it had a blown head gasket and had been in some sort of decent front end accident, car had been totally thrashed, part my apprentices fault for buying it but this bloke knew what he was selling… Maybe his boats are okay I can’t say don’t know anything about marine equipment… but don’t buy cars from here !! Base motors is the place to go if you want quality cars at a great price. All the staff were very helpful especially the owner. I will be coming back.
Be sure to check the rego of a car you test drive. Some of their stock has rego expired for months. Rude feral looking staff who grunt at you. Office is a mess. I’d be cautious of mechanics selling cars. I’d bet they’re glued together.
Was looking for an emergency car, within 30min of seeing a Facebook post- was lead here. Took the car on the usual tests and checked it all out. Wasn’t trying to rip me off as some do seeing a young female and wasn’t pushing me to buy, the decision was entirely mine. Allowed me to solo test drive which prior to looking wasn’t given. Was up front and honest about the car state, pointed out damage I glossed over on first glance. Made buying smooth and absolutely stress free.
