RIP. This was my favorite Italian place in the entire city. A neighborhood gem that made me proud to live a few blocks away. Heartbreaking to see it go after it made it through the recession and following years because of its dynamite food and well-curated wine at competitive prices.
I love this restaurant and their kind attention to details. When they make special arrangements for small groups (10-15) they are extremely willing to work out the details for special orders such as gluten free pastas. In addition, I have had lunch and dinner there and always found the service and the food to be excellent -
This slightly out of the way italian that at one time likely had a trendy decor serves up good italian food in sleek and affordable package that is perfect for a relaxing night with just one or a couple friends. Good respite after shopping at nearby bloomingdales.
good prix fixe neighborhood deal
One of our waiters was a bit rude. The other one and the owner were quite nice though. Food taste and serving size was not bad. The Prix Fixe was a pretty good deal.
