I have no concerns about my doctor, this review is solely about the reception staff. During my visit on 31/07/2026, I observed the older receptionist eating with her hands before handling patient documents and the EFTPOS terminal, while a younger receptionist was casually chatting in front of patients. This is a healthcare clinic, not a grocery shop. The public expected a higher standard of hygiene and professionalism.
I've been seeing Dr Tam for a few years and I can't express enough how welcome, comfortable, caring, and supporting Dr Tam and the team are. I'm incredibly thankful that Dr Tam and the Admin team were part of my journey. I was always looked after and cared for. The Admin team especially Dr Tam's main Admin Officer has made my journey that much more easier and never once made it seem like any questions I had was a silly question. Unfortunately i am not able to write a positive review in relation to my dealings with this clinic and a particular female Gyno i saw for at least 2 years at this clinic. This review is no reflection on medical skills but people skills and empathy. In 2025 I was presented with a possible "worst case scenario" (which I found out via an email, without any prior heads up from the Dr with this being the second time they mislaid my test results). am writing to express my concerns regarding the conduct of Dr Saba Javed. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder by her, which I believe is incorrect. I have raised serious concerns about her mental state, which I believe is impacting her ability to diagnose patients and practice as a psychiatrist. I have therefore filed a report with APRAH for her mental state to be examined by the chief psychiatrist and for her to be deemed unfit to practice. A court has ordered Prof Julie Quinlivan pay almost $2 million to an ophthalmologist after finding she did not read his written defence before sending him to an investigations committee. She has exhibited an extremely cavalier attitude to justice. I think she should be working under close supervision.
