I first went to Slidell Memorial because I was fainting, and different doctor sent me home without finding the cause. At The Louisiana Heart Hospital, Dr. Barton was my doctor. In 30 minutes, they realized that I had ulcers and a Bleed from taking too many BC powders due to daily headaches and chronic migraines. Dr. Barton listened and really got to know me-and my case while visiting my room. He actually cared. He was incredibly knowledgeable and he listened. My first visit I was in a lot of pain. The waiting time was maybe 5 minutes, they listened to everything I had to say. They treated me right there in the office due to a severe infection and monitored me for 2 1/2 hrs. I couldn't ask for a better Dr.
