Run—don’t walk—away from this building if you are considering renting an apartment here. Alas, I have been a resident for over 30 years at the Barton House, which until a few years ago has been a great place to live. Lived there for three years. Concierge team and maintenance team are a cut above. Fair and competitive rent prices for the area.
I lived at Barton House for over a decade under the prior management company and I enjoyed every minute of living there. I only moved out when I bought a house and moved out of the DC area. Fast forward 7 years later, I am in the process of moving back to the DC area and decided to rent so naturally my first thought was Barton House. The only problem is no one will return your calls or emails! I have been trying for over six months to reach the leasing manager.
