Arrogant attitude – I had the opportunity to dine at Barton G in Miami recently while in town to attend my son's wedding. I went on a Tuesday evening and dined under a covered patio where I enjoyed a wonderful meal and a magical dinner presentation. Avoid it if you can – From the moment you walk in you feel the disdain and demeaning attitudes, everything is an optical illusion, eat the plate gimmicks not the food, for the price Checkers is a better deal.
Great Place for a Special Occasion – Just took my little one there for her 4th birthday and it will be one she?ll always remember. The service was fantastic; everyone made sure that she felt like a princess, the waiter (Nicolas) went above and beyond. Perhaps the best meal i've ever tasted – I went to Barton G with friends while on vacation. We were a party of 8 and our reservations were immediately accomodated. The waittress was extremely pretty and completey attentive to our needs. We had amazing wine, and the below-zero nitro bar drinks were SPECTACULAR! Worth every penny!!! – Yes this restaurant is pricy, but it was worth every penny. Unfriendly and unreliable service that doesn't seem to care about its customers. – We had reservations at Barton G's for a special ocassion dinner. We confirmed the reservation twice, including once on the day of the dinner. We were actually looking for an earlier time -- and as per the restaurant's suggestion, we arrived earlier. A Special Place – I have been to this restaurant twice and both times I enjoyed my self immensley. The service is excellant and attentive and the food and presentation are out of this world. Try the voodoo shrimp appetizer, which comes out steaming. Also, make sure you save room for the desserts, which are delicious and entertaining. My only gripe with this place is how difficult it is to get a reservation.
