The department I was trying to get a degree in did not understand at all that I was a transfer student but still wanted to get an associates degree. Now their telling me I have to transfer credits back to even get a degree from them. My advisor was also no help unfortunately.

BCCC online offering is a perfect fit for anyone who is trying to balance work/family/school, yet wants to futher thier education. The staff are very supportive and the on campus labs were very valuable. After passing the staff still continue to support you when it involves outside agency certification and questions.

Business response:

Thank you for the rating and kind words, Lindsey! It is great to hear you have found and continue to find the staff here at Barton to be supportive!

This school is the worst school anyone could ever pick. This school is worse than a high school. The security guards watch your every move, the food is horrible, people aren't very friendly, and I wouldn't recommend going here. It'll be the worst decision you ever make. I promise you this is the worst college in the state of Kansas.

This school is the one of the only schools I could find in the Midwest that was able to get me out of a bind that offered a microbiology and pathophysiology course completely online. Also extremely cheap at $150 a credit hour no matter what state you live in.

Business response:

Glad we were able to help you, Tyler! Thank you for your rating and comment!

I'm a graduate of the Medical Laboratory Technology program at Barton and I loved the school and the program. I have also been working as an MLT for 8 years now and looking through your time line I'm kinda disappointed to not see anything about this program. Due to shortages of laboratory professionals this program plays an important part of providing hospitals in the area with qualified personal. I see lots of nursing stuff but no MLT information. Most people don't know or understand what the lab does and how someone gets i... read more

Hello, I am a resident of North Carolina, and am concerned that a Barton Community College bus has been sitting idle, with no driver or passengers for 45 minutes in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn near Greensboro Airport. They may be traveling to North Carolina for fun or educational purposes, & I applaud that. But they should show more care for our shared natural resources like clean air and water, not to mention their own finances for fuel wasted. Its only 40 degrees outside, no need to warm the bus that long. Besides ... read more
