Low key not, fancy. Staff here was so friendly and nice! Seems like the locals gather here. Nice group of people! Went for live music, but the band didn't show.
It is what it is! If you're sick of the new, hip, fancy, overpriced bars full of over-groomed/dressed judgy people who make you feel like you don't belong...this is the bar for you. Don't let the fancy sign out front fool you, this is a dive bar. And I mean that in the nicest way possible. I believe another reviewer referred to this bar as the CBGB's of Long Island. This is a great atmosphere to hear live music, and I’ve been going here for years and if I can enjoy this bar w/out drinking it’s just a good place to meet people and chill out and unwind from the days stressful crap and listen to live music 5/6 nights a week!!! Come down and give it a shot!! Ps Really good owners and a few sexy and outgoing bartenders they will make you feel very comfortable!! See ya there
