Dr Barter is a good man but his office is very disappointing. I've been a patient there for almost 15 years and now they are forcing their patients to pay for a membership of some ridiculous program because they are complaining about work load. In a world where health care is insanely expensive they thought it was a good idea to add yet another cost onto the patients. Horrible Horrible idea. Shame on them!
If you want an old school primary care physician who takes the time to listen to you versus using a keyboard and being distracted then Dr Barter is your guy...Someone who will not preach but has your best interests in mind then this is the place to be...That being said its hard to become a patient of Dr Barters because people tend to stay with him for a long time...best doctor I have ever had privilege to have as a primary care doc...and If you are lucky enough to have him as your doc then consider yourself a very fortunate ... read more
Dr Barter himself, is absolutely wonderful. His secretary and nurses are awful. My husband and I have gone here since 2013, when he had a nurse practitioner Mary who has since retired before Covid hit. My husband and I tried to make an appointment today for him to be seen for possible strep, and they refused to see him without him going to the pharmacy first to take a Covid test! Horrible secretary service, my husband asked for an emergency visit after being in the hospital two times and she refused too let him speak too Dr. Barter. Hopefully she put it in the notes that she refused if something were to happen you will be sued. 10/10 don’t recommend this facility.
