Dr Barter himself, is absolutely wonderful. His secretary and nurses are awful. My husband and I have gone here since 2013, when he had a nurse practitioner Mary who has since retired before Covid hit. My husband and I tried to make an appointment today for him to be seen for possible strep, and they refused to see him without him going to the pharmacy first to take a Covid test! Horrible secretary service, my husband asked for an emergency visit after being in the hospital two times and she refused too let him speak too Dr. Barter. Hopefully she put it in the notes that she refused if something were to happen you will be sued. 10/10 don’t recommend this facility.
Don’t go here if you actually want to speak to your doctor. According to his secretary, he “doesn’t make phone calls to his patients”. And emergency visits are pushed to 2+ weeks out. We got more help from a school nurse, I don’t recommend at all.
He has the worst front desk people in all of medicine
