He has good reviews for a reason. He’s an amazing Dr. I truly felt like he listened and understood my concerns and cared about me as his patient.
Dr. Bartels is the best OBGYN I've ever seen. He takes a lot of time during appointments and actively listens. He was compassionate and thoughtful when I miscarried a baby, and engaged and joyful when I had my rainbow baby. He performed a C-section for me, and both the procedure and recovery were a lot easier and more comfortable than my previous 2 C-sections (performed by other doctors). He is both knowledgeable and intuitive, and I quickly found myself trusting his judgment 100%. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bartels was my OBGYN when I was pregnant with my daughter. He is such a nice person and a very good doctor. He truly cares to get to know his patients and gives a lot of time for questions during his appointments. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He also delivers at Tacoma General which was a really, really good experience. His staff is also so great, both the doctor himself or nurses responds to questions quickly in the online portal. I’m not sure it’s possible to find a better doctor than Dr. Bartels. He’s kind, respectful, listens to and seeks resolution to any and all concerns. His entire staff is wonderful as well. 10/10 recommend to anyone I know seeking an OB/GYN
