I can't speak to the consigner's experience but my experience going back over fifteen years has always been outstanding. Mark Light has helped me with appraisals, my husband and my wedding rings, and has always been eager to search for estate pieces or unique hard to find pieces. I absolutely recommend.
Bartel's and owner Michael Light sued for fraud, conversion of chattel and other crimes. Lawsuit filed in Clayton,Mo. Items were left on consignment with Michael Light at Bartel's. Michael stole several peices of jewelry,forged receipts and damaged other priceless items. BEWARE! If you do business with this man! Make sure when you leave the shop, you have taken all that you have coming(merchandise or money) or you may never see it again!
