Excellent food. Portions are small and overpriced in my opinion.
I went to bartaco with some friends for an early dinner, and was blown away by the atmosphere, attentive service, quality of food, and overall experience of our time there. The chips and guac were very good, as were the tacos! Definitely a “tapas” style place where I would encourage you to get a bunch of small things to try and share with a group. I should start by saying that I should’ve looked at the menu before going. Tacos!!! I was expecting authentic street tacos and that definitely not what we got. The tortillas were awful. They served us tostadas as our chips for our guacamole. Our tacos each came with a sliver of the butt ends of the lime. Never have I ever seen that and not much lime juice came out. I got chips for the whole table. I was assuming it would be split but it wasn’t. Later, we got our food and ate the chips then our waitress brought more chips. I got charged $6.00 for extra chips that we didn’t ask for.
