Had to meet him 11 years ago when my husband was admitted through ER. Dr MacDonald came to see us around 11:00 PM that night, and we saw him almost every day for the 3 weeks husband was in the hospital. Tough but successful surgery, GBM diagnosis, and husband has just retired after working 9 years post surgery. Thank you Dr MacDonald, and the phenomenal ER staff at NS Forsyth!!
I had a pituitary tumor. Dr. McDonald watched the tumor for a year. He took the conservative approach. Then when I started to have visual defects, he did surgery. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. I had zero pain and he answered all of my questions. I am a nurse and I’m very picky about who my doctor is.
Horrific and crippled
Left me crippled and pain since surgery Terrible follow up care Never checked incisions or saw me in hospital. In more pain now than before surgery. Must walk ,with cane onlyshort distances have to use wheelchair and need assistance . Constant pain Lots of nerve damage Just awful ! Bad quality of life now!
I would send everyone i know to Doctor Macdonald. He stands out among the rest at as an exceptional doctor. I've seen hundreds of doctors, and he is in my top 3 best doctors I've had the pleasure of seeing. He saved my life and my quality of life. He has performed 3 major back surgeries on me, and I'm successfully out of a wheelchair and able to live a full life. Walking around, thanks to him. He's a gem, and he is always thorough and patient.
