Emergency Department: I am not from Barstow but had Shingles flare up while in the area. Since taking medication for this virus is time sensitive, I was stuck with BCH ED as my only option to get a prescription. After the waiting room I was put on a chair in a hallway and seen by the doctor for less than 10 minutes. Once he finally acknowledged my symptoms were consistent with Shingles, he gave me a prescription. I refuse to come to this hospital. Tonight I was picking up an ER patient who literally just had a baby. They were so rude to me when I called. Lisa in the ER department spoke so rudely to me...you messed with the wrong one. I don't care about you or your job. But I promise you I can get you fired. I recorded your dumb a&*!!! I have more pull and more money than you! I can afford a hospital I won't die in. You work in a sh*&hole treating people like you look and feel!
