Living here the past 7 months has honestly been such a good experience. Moving to a new place can be stressful, but from the beginning the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The property is always kept clean, maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the overall atmosphere feels peaceful and safe. Don’t rent here. I lived here years ago and it was okayish. Moving back to the area and they’ve obviously changed management. I paid $154 for my application and got zero communication. Had to call 15 times just to get a call back. Horrible communication skills from “Cathy” didn’t tell me next steps or how to secure the apartment I wanted after paying my application fee. She finally called back 3 days later to tell me the apartment I wanted was gone and its first come first serve. What a joke of customer service skills and co... read more
The worst apartments in Dothan. The landlord is rude and so is the regional manager. Also they over charge the apartments are so rundown for the price. Also known to have a lot of bugs.
This is my 3rd time living at Barstone. My husband and I moved in a few months ago, and even though the apartment had some issues Cathy was right on it taking care of everything. The common area and pool have been updated and look very nice. If you have a dog the pet area is large enough to let them run. I must say the rooms are spacious and I love the new floors and appliances! Location is great!
Moving to Alabama from out of state was a big change for me, but this apartment community made the transition so much easier. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the leasing lady especially made me feel like I belonged here from day one. It really feels like home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
