Reserved via classpass. Pretentious and fake-nice employees on top of a very mediocre routine with deafening music. Not sure why anyone would pay to run on a treadmill and doing some body weight squats while having someone yelling at you. If you don’t have any experience in doing HIIT then you can definitely hurt yourself with some of the floor exercises since no form adjustments were given at all. You’re better off following growingannanas or Heather Robertson for a much more efficient HIIT workout on YouTube.
The gym is clean and well-maintained, but instructors often ask members to fist-bump those next to them during workouts. In a sweaty gym environment, I find this unhygienic and uncomfortable, as it creates unnecessary skin-to-skin contact and opportunities for germs to spread. It’s also difficult to decline during class without feeling rude or out of place. Tara is an incredible instructor. I started taking her class in January to improve my cardiovascular fitness alongside my strength training, and it’s been one of the best additions to my routine. Her classes are challenging, motivating, well-programmed, and always have great music. She pushes the room in the best way, and I always leave feeling stronger and accomplished. Highly recommend!
