I had a horrible experience - he has terrible people skills and then when I complained that one of my new crowns felt infected, he insisted it wasn't and after another week of torturous pain had me come in and then acknowledged the infection but told me it was my fault because i hadn't bitten down hard enough when he inserted the new crown! I was referred to Dr. Nestlerode by a family friend. I had been to 3 other dentists in the last year that had me very discouraged. The $$$ they wanted for fixing my teeth was way too much. Do to migraines, I subconsciously grind my teeth when I’m in bad pain. My teeth were hurting and looked really bad. I stopped smiling. I have been a patient of Dr. Nestlerode for years... I have referred family and friends to go see him because I truly thought he was one of the best. He was the first and ONLY dentist that made me feel comfortable and was considerate of my dental anxiety. Today his receptionist decided to call and let me know they would recommend I go elsewhere for my dental work due to me being a “difficult” patient and the “dental laws changing” with prescribing medication for dental procedures. Barry really took care of me. I had had some previously poor ortho and dental work in the past which really put me off going to the dentist. Barry went above and beyond to get me back up and running again at a reasonable price. He went out of his way to fix my bite and smile which looks near perfect now. I wish I had before and after photos to show; definitely recommended.
