I wasn’t impressed with Dr. Mitchel. He was very condescending, stern and extremely dry and not personable at all. I needed several referrals and no matter how many times I called and emailed, he and his staff never got the referrals rolling. As soon as I switched doctors, I immediately got the referrals completed and saw the specialists I needed to see. It turns out, I needed surgery and my MRI suggested I needed it long ago. I've been going to Dr. Mitchell for 25 years. He has always been spot on with diagnosis. I try to explain what is going on, he listens, he checks my current records, and recommends a course of action. If I'm not agreeable to that course of action, other alternatives are explored. As an well established patient, I'm able to contact him via the patient portal and get a response within a day or so.

I saw Dr. Mitchell 4 times. He was always prompt and the office was very friendly but that is where it ends. He miss-diagnosed my for a condition in which I was giving blood every 4 weeks. Everytime I saw him, he would never really examine my prior to throwing out a diagnosis. Rather he would immediately refer me to a specialist of a physical therapist. I decided to change doctors and went in to request a copy of my records. I filled out the request twice and I am still waiting 4 months later
