The food here is terrific. Unfortunately, the service is not so great. I put it in an order on the app to be picked up an hour later. Showed up 10 minutes after my expected time and they had not even started my order. Then they said they were going to charge me extra because I have two kinds of cheese to which I replied I already paid extra on the app. They did not put my potato salad in the bag, and when I pointed that out they acted like I was trying to steal something and went digging through my bag looking for it. Apparently order ahead or online orders take priority over guest on line. One person in front of me being waited on and 2 other employees in building that I could see. One young lady was only focus on online order and never even acknowledged me possibly Latino dark hair and glasses - I waited 5 min and walked out after never being acknowledged greeted or anything. I go to Barry’s bagels weekly. Service is hit or miss depending on who is making your order. The most important feedback is that recently, past 2 months, the toppings are falling off the bagels while they are preparing your order. An everything bagel ends up as a plain bagel. The owner says it’s a new baker they hired and the people making the bagels say they are directing a new dough. Either way they need to make an adjustment or they will lose business quickly.
