I order a dozen bagels regularly Online.Today was the second time that my Bakers dozen has been shorted multiple bagels. Today’s order featured, missing bagels and bagels smashed so flat that you could not have sliced them in half. when I brought it to the attention of the person at the counter, they shrugged and said that’s just how they look today. Grabbed my missing bagels put them in a separate bag. No ownership of the mistake or apology offered. Service is normally much better than this
I was really disappointed with my experience. When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted at all, even though I was the only customer at the counter. The two employees working seemed more focused on talking to each other than helping customers. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, along with a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. All the reviews about the staff being rude are right on the money. I came in for a dozen bagels. I used to come here once every other week, but hadn't been in a while. I thought I'd be the change I wanted to see in the world by smiling and being nice. Didn't seem to matter. Even though there were only two other people in the store, the staff seemed angry and like they didn't want to be there. I don't blame the staff though. This is clearly a management/owner issue. Placed an online order, show up 25 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and they haven't started making it yet. Then had to wait 20 more minutes before I got it. Would have literally been faster to just show up and wait in line and place the order there, because everyone in line when I got there, plus several people who showed up after me, got their orders first.
