What a horrific experience. Even against the backdrop of many mediocre hairstylists in Norwich, the woman who cut my hair at Barry Alan was something else. For starters, she didn't bother to actually wet and wash my hair, just splashed a couple of handfuls of water on top of the head and skipped the conditioner entirely. Then, her station. What a disgrace. She only had a primitive (not round) brush with somebody else's hair stuck in it and a broken plastic comb. I came in with long healthy hair and asked for some shape, soft layers and specifically nothing short around face as my hair is wavy. Unfortunately I left with no shape but trimmed length and choppy layers around my face that will take months to grow back. It honestly looks like a DIY haircut.
