Had appointment booked for ages and got called at 5.30 the night before to say it’s cancelled and nobody else could honour the appointment. First time booking and won’t be booking again, booked hair for a holiday so really important it was done.

Okay firstly Barry Alans is fantastic, they are so brilliant at catering to a customers every need. I feel so comfortable everytime I go in there and have to say all of the staff are fantastic and welcoming. The salon is clean and feels modern. There is a really lovely vibe on the floor with everyone chatting and the music in the back is lovely. first time my hairs been cut in a long time and leann did an amazing job! feel like a brand new person and my hair looks so much healthier than before! couldn’t be happier with my haircut

What a horrific experience. Even against the backdrop of many mediocre hairstylists in Norwich, the woman who cut my hair at Barry Alan was something else. For starters, she didn't bother to actually wet and wash my hair, just splashed a couple of handfuls of water on top of the head and skipped the conditioner entirely. Then, her station. What a disgrace. She only had a primitive (not round) brush with somebody else's hair stuck in it and a broken plastic comb.
