Best mechanics in town. Professional, friendly and reliable. Thank you Gary and Deon and the rest of the team and the best for last Sonya she is friendly and knowledgeable face of the business. Thank Guys for all you do.
Garry is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I recently moved to Independence and so was hesitant about picking a new mechanic. The work these guys did was phenomenal. The PT Cruiser is notoriously difficult to work on as it's incredibly cramped in the engine bay - especially for a timing belt replacement, but these guys are pros. Very very reasonable quote, and they went above and beyond and had the car back to me much quicker than expected. I've found my local mechanic I'll be sticking with.
Honest, reliable, knowledgeable, experienced. For decades Garry & the guys have kept my cars running well. Trust your cars to Barr’s.
Staff is friendly and responsive; Garry is knowledgeable and kind. If he tells us he can do it, it’s done quickly and at reasonable cost. If he says it can’t be fixed, it really can’t. Barr’s provides trustworthy and reliable service without breaking the bank. We won’t go anywhere else!
I took my 2001 Chevy lumina to have it looked at. 260,000 miles on it to have a rear gasket fixed it was leaking and come to find out the front one was leaking and the intake. The gentleman said the car being old and lots of mileage he would not recommend dropping the money into it. Instead of just taking my money which they could have done they did not conduct business that way. I appreciated his advice and his time. Thank you for not taking advantage and your honesty is refreshing!
Wonderful Service and Very Friendly I love Barrs Auto Repair. Gary is very knowledgeable and friendly. His secretary is very warm and inviting when you call/come in. They have always been fair to me and tell me what I need to get taken care of right away and some things I don't. They usually know what is wrong just by calling them as well. They also really try to get to know you on a personal basis. Gary knows me and always asks about 2 of my cars. I totally trust them in taking car of my cars especially my mini.
Not the cheapest place in town, but Garry seems to talk straight and present the options for me as a customer to make an informed decision. He did a good job and always tries to accommodate same day service. Replaced the master brake cylinder on my 1996 Chevy Blazer and cost about $400. Replaced the coils and plugs on my 2001 Ford F150 Supercrew and cost about $960
Quality work Quality work done at fair prices. I took my car in here with no real idea what was wrong and feel I was treated faily and things were fully explained. They've been at this location for years and years so they must be doing something right.
