Back in the 1930's Angelina Barro was baking pizza, using only the freshest ingredients, and allowing enough time and care to make the best pizzas down on Taylor Street in Chicago. In those days only family and friends in the neighborhood were able to enjoy her delicious pizzas. Delicious!! Very good pizza! It's delicious! They deliver as well as have a restaurant. It's not fancy inside, but it's clean and the staff is friendly. Efficient service. The prices are comparable to other pizza places.
The only pizza 'chain' I will ever endorse. I usually hate chains. ESPECIALLY pizza chains. But I love Barro's Pizza. I think it's family owned so that probably helps quite a bit. Their crust is amazing. I generally prefer their thin crust but their thick (original) is really good too. I also can't get enough of their honey hot wings.
Great Meal! We love the bread-sticks and cheesy bread-sticks!! They are delicious. Good salad bar and pizza as well. Nice and clean with a friendly staff. Definitely recommend you try it!
