While visiting colleagues at the Hilton, we stopped in for some drinks at this bar. They were slammed due to a large conference in town and service was slow, but was friendly once I was waited on. The venue is decent, plenty of room for all the folks that were hanging out there. They serve food and a full bar here too.
The menu is stunningly sparse. Ordered chips and dips. Tortilla chips, salsa, and guacamole. Took about 20 minutes to come out, although the bar was sparsely attended. Unfortunately, everything was cold. I'm okay with cold salsa... but the chips were literally cold. As was the quac. Flavor was good. Service was okay. Never asked if everything was okay. Nicks Quorum here is so good. Not sure what the disconnect is with the lobby bar.
Had a great experience at the Hilton. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the food even came out on a cool little robot, which was a fun touch. Brad took excellent care of me. He stayed on top of refills and made sure I had everything I needed right on time. Great service all around. Would definitely come back!
Best bar in town, hands down.
