I was appointed Almand Barron for my child custody case as a Guardian Ad Litem. She did nothing in the interest of my children even knowing they were in harms way with evidence. She did not do any investigations and made a very bleak report. I was asked by a judge if I believe she was fair in my case. Just called to set up a consultation and was ready to pay the $450/hr and the ensuing retainer that comes along with it, but the receptionist is about as rude as she can be. That's the last thing anyone wants to deal with when they're already in a spot to have to call a family court attorney. If the attorney's are ok with this type of interaction with their clients, I can only imagine how they handle things once the client gets to them. No thank you.
