Barristers at The Esquire Hotel has a really nice, clean atmosphere that feels upscale and welcoming. The space itself is beautiful, but I do think a little background music would help set the ambiance and bring more warmth to the overall vibe. Really beautiful setting, and the service was excellent. Food was good and nice & hot. I recommend the fried sliced squash, as an appetizer. It was my favorite thing that I had to eat.
This restaurant is located inside of the historic Esquire Hotel in downtown Gastonia. Very charming with so much character. The food is amazing, and I love the selection. From chicken to steak, pasta, and more... you can't go wrong with whatever you choose. The cocktails are delectable too. There is also outdoor patio and rooftop seating when the temps are right. I love all of the history it holds inside of these walls!
