Had a wonderful experience at Barrique Bistro! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed evening out. Ordered the octopus , the lobster roll and lime shrimp. Octopus was rubbery and little taste, so was the lime shrimp. It seems like they don’t use the salt here. The slaw with the lobster roll was stale and bland, no salt. Lobster roll was OK. Overall poor food taste. Wont be coming back.
Do not miss this Lake Geneva gem! Lake front with beautiful views. Food is wonderful. Wine list is incredible. Service is top notch! I am here for 3 nights and am considering having dinner here every night.
These reviewers are full of shit or just eat at cracker barrel, a wine bar sets the expectation for great food, the food sucks! Staff are nice, but something is really wrong in that operation, maybe a vet decided to open a restaurant to show his love for wine and lake geneva. I would go next door I were you or just have a cheese plate, a glass of wine, and ask for the check right away or you'll have to chase down your server. Too bad, location is great
