Salem local here: hostess didn’t seem interested in seating us. We asked if we could be seated against the wall and we were ignored. We sat there for ten minutes and no one came over to our table. The place was mostly empty so it’s not like they could claim to be understaffed. Used to be a great and friendly place, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Came in on a busy Friday to catch the World Cup opener. Our server Grace and bartender Cam were both busy, but still super attentive and greeted me immediately. The tacos were amazing and the mezcal drinks were crazy good with a solid beer list too. Never been before because just moved to town and will definitely be back. 20/10 would recommend.
Food was disgusting, servers seemed to not care and I seen several on their phones. Sucks that i wasted money on this food. Won’t be back unfortunately grosss
We tried a few of the El Jefe selections, and they absolutely did not disappoint. Everything was packed with flavor, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for great tacos and creative menu options, Barrio is definitely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Salem!
