Shocked! I took my dog for a grooming appointment at Barrington Square. Upon dropping my dog off, I was asked for her vaccination records, which I called my vet to send over. Driving home, Barrington Square Animal Hospital called to inform me that my dog was due for her Bordetalla and flu vaccine. I thanked them for letting me know and proceeded to call my vet to ask for more information. 8/22/20 Kitten BRIE had fluid filled forehead swelling VERY early AM. In approx 10 hrs it increased by ⅓-½ & I got last appt @Barrington Square Animal Hospital @1p. I said it needed draining, fluid typing, & treatment. Vet VAN ZANT took BRIE in back & returned w/DX of abcess/pus & advised antibiotic shot that'd treat it 4 14 days, 2 which I agreed. B4 BRIE was returned, I opened back door of exam room & reiterated 2 DRAIN it. When BRIE was returned, the swelling looked nearly same size & still felt full of fluid. I reiterate... read more
I've been going to BSAH for almost 9 years.. I recently met the current office manager , whos6 worked there for about 4 months. I don't know her name but she is completely lacking in good customer service skills. She was argumentative, mean and actually got in my face . She treated me like I was ignorant of how to put a pill down an animal's throat. I will only keep going there because we love Dr. Jen. She's intelligent, kind and understanding. That manager needs more training in customer service skills.
