My Dad was put here after his brother turfed him out after needing some more home support. Here, the care he received there was deeply inadequate and, at times, outright neglectful. Despite having neuromuscular swallowing difficulties, my father was routinely given unsafe foods like burgers and to feed himself. Our family has been immensely blessed by this supportive community. Our beautiful Mama had been isolated (by choice) for almost ten years and we grieved the loss of the Mother who raised us.
