Fake warranty, you are not protected while they have the wrong bunch of people working there. The company should be boycotted for the false sense of security they are giving, you are not protected by their warranty. Because their warranty is a crock of s**t.
BEWARE. Do not buy anything, I mean anything made or sold by Barette outdoor living. If you want to return something, the shipping back to them cost more that the products they sold you through their middleman. Lousy customer service, They don't care. Not a customer oriented company. Steer clear from them.
I'm only giving a review of their customer service department, specifically communicating with them via email. They are terrible about replying to emails. Terrible, meaning they don't reply. So, if you have any questions, feedback, etc. and you want to communicate with them via email, just be aware.
Do not buy from this company. Took me 2 months to get my order which came with the wrong posts. When I asked Tim Long of fencingdirect if I could just return and get correct ones, I was told it was my fault. I had no choice but to order another $370 worth of posts to complete my fence. These came all scuffed and scratched up. What an awful experience!!
do not order from this company. We had to order THRU Lowes. We had to put in stair railings by a certain date or lose our home owners insurance. We kept getting delays from Lowes. Finally received product and starting installing. There was balusters with no holes and partial paint, scuff marks down to metal and top rail ends were crooked and the holes for the locking strips were off center. Horrible...Horrible Company....I originally ordered my vinyl fencing through LOWES. A grand order of $2500 on 6/26/20 and was advised an estimated date and time of 7/10/20. When the product did not arrive by 7/15/20, I called LOWES and they advised me that the vender Barrette Outdoor Living changed the shipping date to 7/26/20. Once again, no arrival, so I called Barrette Outdoor Living and the customer service rep was very nasty.
