Great OB! I totally disagree with the negative reviews of Dr. Barrett. She was the doctor that helped me to discover the reasons behind my infertility. She's compassionate and a smart lady. I have nothing but nice things to say about the whole practice!
Great office I have been a patient of Capital Area for over 15 years. This is a great office. Dr. Barrett is a very caring and understanding doctor. I was considered a high risk pregnancy and never had any doubts about the care I received. Dr. Buckley delivered my twin girls by c-section and my son 2 years later. He is also a great doctor. Wonderful! Dr. Barrett has been my doctor for several years and I have always been happy with her. She has a great professional manner that puts you at ease. She also delivered my first child and was wonderful! I had a great birth experience with her and was very happy with the overall experience.
Not a high risk pregnanacy OB These docs are inexperinced and arrogant. if you are a high risk preganant woman find another OB who is a specialist in high risk OB. These docs all 5 sat back and watched me have a miscariage because I just had not met my quota of 3 miscraiges. if u had not had 3 these docs will not help you. I lost a healthy baby boy at 14 weeks because of these docs. Do your self and your unborn baby a big favor and find another OB.
Good, but busy doctor. Dr. Barrett is a good doctor. She is young and has a good bedside manner. As a mom herself, she can related to many of the things moms go through. My son was born in August 2006. Dr. Barrett delivered him. She was compassionate and understanding. She is busy. You can expect to wait to be seen a bit.

Very unprofessional I felt like I was on a conveyor on an assembly line. the Doctors in this office don't know what they are doing. there seems to be little communication between the nurses and doctors, I had to repeat myself to both each visit, also they don't seem to take the time to review your chart before seeing you. Dr. Barrett I've been with this practice since 2004 and delivered my daughter with Dr. Barrett in 2005. My only complaint was they let me go to 42 weeks before they would induce. My daughter was a healthy 8 lb 10 oz little girl. I'm also grateful that they did not push the idea of having to have a c-section. Everything was always my choice and I did not have to have a c-section.
