after 15 plus years first time back in Camden our favorite town in ME. saw the "new" water front and stepped into Barren's. Amazing atmosphere, very welcoming team and Andrew was just the perfect host. we stayed the whole early evening until sunset and enjoyed the salad and an amazing salmon bowl. a must try. chardonnay and drinks all just on the spot. keep it up we'll be back. thank you for the amazing hospitality.

The food and the atmosphere was amazing but the service wasnt good. The bar tenders were all very young and distracted, not noticing that we needed another drink or water refills and silverware. Not once did anyone ask if the food was ok.
Great views of Camden, the vibe was perfect for a summer lunch. However, food was terrible. Ordered the salmon bowl and the whole dish was flavorless, rice tasted like nothing, the salmon was dry. My partner ordered the seafood bowl, the pasta was undercooked and there wasn’t enough seafood (just 3 shrimps and 3 scallops). Server was nice. Overpriced. Would be back only for drinks next time.
A nice spot on the harbor. A variety of items are on the menu. The salmon bowl was good, along with the smash burger. Recommend a visit if you are in the area!
