I was gifted a beard trim here for Father’s Day, and what I got was completely different from what I expected. A proper beard trim usually starts by warming the hair with a towel so it lays down naturally—then the trim can actually be even and proportional. None of that happened. Didn’t have appointment but one was available @230 . Eating lunch next door at the Rappahannock., so I walked in . I asked for a hot lather shave . She looked at barber behind her and lady said NO but skating head back and forth . Refused to give me a cut .
I’ve been searching for the right barber for almost a year, and I’m so glad I finally found Kelsie. She truly understands how to work with my hair (very straight and strong eurasian hair) and absolutely nailed the cut, easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. Per husband - Got stuck on the bridge coming to an appointment - called once and texted progress about the traffic situation and arrived approx. 10 minutes late - the manager made the stylist stand in the back and refused to honor my appointment. THEN CHARGED me full on my credit card.
