He got to taste different barrels and even create his own whiskey blend at the end—which he absolutely loved. My wife and I are visiting the St. Louis area and my wife found this gem. This was a great experience. Stephen and Zach were fantastic hosts. Tasting all the whiskeys and finding a blend that matched our taste was so much fun! We picked our bottle style and came up with the name for our blend. This was a really cool experience. Very self paced and relaxed environment. You get to blend your own bourbon! Definitely recommend!
We can’t recommend this place enough, we had an INCREDIBLE day at Barrel House doing the whiskey/bourbon experience!! We gifted this to my Dad for his birthday, and he couldn’t stop talking about it. We wish we knew about this place sooner! For the non-bourbon drinkers, us ladies had wine and charcuterie at a table near by, while he went around the barrels making his bottle creation. Huge shoutout to the owner, Stephen & his wife, who were super welcoming and educated us on everything along the way. We will be back!!
