Joined this gym recently. Great local facility. Clean and modern.
I've been coming to barre3 over the past few years and was extremely taken aback with the experience I had with one instructor, Anne Kody, who has also had at least one other review of being “standoffish”. I was blatantly ignored as l attempted to find a spot in the packed class, wondering around the perimeter of the room even went so far as to stand at the front of the room scanning to find a spot. I’ve been going to Barre3 Old Town a little over a year, and I feel like I’ve found my fitness home, my happy place. I’ve taken a lot of different workouts around the area, and Barre3 is hands down my favorite. It’s the right mix of fun and challenging. The instructors are supportive and encouraging, and I look forward to going there. I’ve never felt stronger or happier.
Maria is absolutely spectacular. This was my first class and I was super nervous. The class was challenging and moved quickly. The instructor gave phenomenal encouragement throughout the class and was helpful with 1 on 1 assistance. Bless you, Maria. Special shout out to all the students in class. They were super kind and supportive.
