I’ve been happy with my experience at Barre3 on Melrose Ave in Iowa City. The warm welcome each morning makes those early wake-ups so worth it, and being part of such a positive group of women is truly energizing. I’m so glad I decided to give this style of fitness a try—I’m officially hooked!
I have LOVED coming to this studio. From the classes, to the instructors, to the studio esthetics—everything is top notch. Each class empowers you and I really feel a difference in my strength after I go consistently. All ages and abilities are welcomed and celebrated. The staff knows you by name and makes you feel important. I have met many friends through this studio. I truly can’t say enough amazing things about my experience here and I recommend it to everybody!
Fun, energetic program with adaptable parts for all levels! Great teachers who really seem to want you to have the best workout for you!
I've been going to this studio for about 4 months and was invited by a friend. Barre3 Is a total body workout, including strength. As a mom, one of the biggest things I appreciate about the workouts is that they there's a lot of variety and I don't feel completely exhausted or drained afterward. I can go home and have energy for my kids. The lavender scented towels at the end of the workout are a nice treat.
barre3 is a wonderful community of women working out together to become stronger, healthier, and find community among like-minded individuals. As a newer (read stressed out postpartum) mom of three under two, I love the focus on self care, and being there for one another. I’m still new, but I can already see and, more importantly, feel a difference in my body and spirit.
