Terrible. Used to be run by John and he would call me and tell me what needed done and how much. I took my 17 year old sons new 2nd hand Golf in to ask for advice on how long before I needed a new timing chain. Immediately $165 charge for a ‘scan’ no advice on the the timing chain which was the whole reason we asked for the car to be seen. They need to communicate a bit bet and the lady Catherine was really rude. Really rude and she needs to learn to speak to people with less superiority.
Just a thanks John & Ian for your years of support. Last two of the old school that could diagnose and repair. More than that, John was uncompromisingly fair with his pricing. If only others could take a leaf out of their book.
Affordable and honest car maintenance. Looks after my Landcruiser and Forester. Sadly, John & Ian have both recently retired (2024). Despite the many positive reviews I now suggest you need to assess the new owners on their own merits. I'll give them a chance but hold my breath!
Best mechanic John has retired, new owner charge Me $480 plus $3 card sub charge’s for front break pad, where John would have done for half the price, Please cross check price elsewhere before you service your car here.
