My experience at the office itself was good--the dentist was thorough and I liked the hygienist as well. HOWEVER. Before my appointment, I was assured over the phone that I needed to pay up front but that my insurance would repay all of it. I'm not an insurance expert, and believed that. They repeatedly told me "100% reimbursement" without making sure I knew that 100% as deemed by the insurance company is likely very different than the office's charges to me. Because the crown was not fitted correctly, it cracked 3 yrs later. I was not told I had to have regular cleaning with them, and only them, for it to be guaranteed. When I first called for general questions, but couldn't book the appoinment, but told them when I got it done, I was told it was guaranteed for 5 years. When I called to set the appointment, I was told no guarantee only if cleaning were done with him. Like a bait and switch in customer service and guarantees.

Dr. Barotz ruined my smile several years ago - I went in to have the composite filling redone on my front tooth and he took it upon himself to shave down the tooth next to it to make it more narrow so he could widen the tooth I was having him redo the filling on. So now I have two TOTALLY different size and shape front teeth which looks hideous. A couple of weeks ago, I visited Barotz Dental for a routine cleaning and check up. I was greeted at the office with friendly service and promptly offered a beverage as well as an iPad to use while I waited for the doctor. After waiting a few minutes, the hygienist greeted me and proceeded to complete my appointment. I was blown away by the customer service and comfortable atmosphere of Barotz dental. I will be visiting again.

A few months back, I had an in-office bleaching at Barotz Dental. I was blown away by the quality of care and attention to detail. I plan on coming back to Barotz Dental for all of my dental needs.

Going to Barotz was the best dental experience of my entire life! I walked in completely nervous and not sure what to expect. I was blown away by their friendliness, respect, and genuinely wanted me to have a smile I was proud of. After the process of invisalign, I have never been happier with my smile. Run as fast as you can...this guy took it upon himself to do a root canal. I was against it and wanted an endodontist. He did not take a fresh xray of the tooth. On the way home I experienced pain beyond belief, called him and he persuaded me to take a medication which contained an ingredient to which I told him I was allergic to. Turns out the tooth had 4 roots--he treated 3 and one of the 3 he filled only half way down. This abcess has compromised my health.
