My wife and I are on a three week vacation in South Australia and Sydney and we’re only staying in Accor Accommodation. We’re Diamond members and have had brilliant accommodation and upgrades etc at all of the hotels. Except this one. Perhaps they’re new to Accor, or don’t really care. We had a refundable room, paid over 50 dollars more than the rate today. We were put in the base room. As the hotel was no where near capacity I asked about an upgrade that we’re entitled. All in all was a great stay and positive experience - we would stay again. Only notes would be 1. It would be good if the hotel had a few more umbrellas on hand for guests to borrow/rent on a rainy day - especially given minimal shelter to move from rooms to reception; 2. Rooms don’t have a full length mirror in them - the only mirror is the small round vanity one in the bathroom; 3. The property has had a recent upgrade and overhaul. Rooms are very comfortable and functional with all of the requirements as needed. The onsite restaurant Angus & Co is a great restaurant with quality food. Very good wine local wine selection as well. Room prices and reasonable. All round a great choice of hotel.
