The location and rooms at this property are genuinely lovely, which makes the service shortcomings all the more disappointing. We arranged a late arrival and were instructed to call the after-hours number displayed on the wall to obtain the entry code. We arrived just before 7pm and called repeatedly for approximately 30 minutes without any response. Pros: * The rooms were very aesthetic and well-styled. The kitchenette was clean, the bed and couch were comfortable and cosy and overall made for a very relaxing stay. Really relying on the Mecure name, rooms are okay but do nothing to muffle sounds from other rooms. Breakfast was mediocre; no soy milk for coffee, pastries didn’t seem overly fresh (not stale just not the freshest) Overall, not worth the price tag.
Stayed here for the Day on the Green (Jimmy Barnes ) concert, and the location was perfect for the 15 minute walk to the venue(peter Lehman Winery). There was no issues for parking and the rooms were very good with ample room for relaxing. The hotel is close enough to main street with a very short drive, and far enough away to be peaceful and quiet.
