History Established in 1933. Nestled on seven acres of property, The Barnyard and Carriage House creates the perfect country setting for all occasions. Originally a working dairy farm in the early 1800's, it was converted into a local post and named The Barnyard in 1933. Cute setting and rustic food. This restaurant is exactly what it said...a barn. The atmosphere is awesome. The food is classic american cuisine with added flavor. It is a great family place and the service is great. Not only can you go there for dinner, but you can also throw your party in the new Carriage House.
