I really wanted to give 5 stars but there are just a few too many minor inconveniences to want to give a perfect rating. The grounds are amazing and very well kept. We stayed in a pet friendly cottage and it was beautifully presented and felt exclusive. Walking around the grounds felt like I was strolling through a palace garden in some areas, and there are plenty of fire pits and spots to sit down and take it in. The service for the Mother’s Day brunch at Jules was very slow and inattentive. Even though we arrived early for our reservation, as instructed in the reminder email we were not greeted in a friendly manner and made to wait past our reservation time even though the table we were seated at had been open the entire time we were there. I had the pleasure of working with Rachel Leinmiller, who was truly amazing. She helped execute our entire attorney retreat and everyone LOVED IT. I could not have better things to say about the staff, the grounds, and the overall atmosphere of Barnsley Resort.
