Twice now (a couple years apart), I've had the misfortune of needing A/C repair in July. Twice now, the gents at Barney's were quick and efficient. They arrived the day I called, diagnosed the issue within minutes of arriving, and fixed the specific problem (1 the fan motor on the condenser and a capacitor) without trying to upsell or overcharge. And, they left the space neat and tidy when they were done. Highly recommended by this Science Teacher.

They came looked at the unit said the whole thing needed to be replaced order everything told me 4 to 6 weeks at 6 weeks I called and asked when everything would be in was told still not in never heard anything waited another 6 weeks and called the landlord about it anyways had to call someone else to come out and replace the unit. Very poor service, not reliable, no communication. The other company came on Friday and replaced the whole unit within 5 days. I waited 3 months for barney's ac and heat and never recieved anythin... read more

I called on a Monday and spoke to Ray. I explained that my unit outside was not working. He said he could come on Tuesday afternoon to look at the unit. Just before 5pm, I received a call from Ray saying he could come look at the unit now. He was very professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable. He found that we had a blown transformer in the inside part of the unit and replaced it. Within 45 minutes of arriving, we had a/c again. I would highly recommend Barney's Air Conditioning heating to anyone in the area!!
