I've been going to Barnacle Billy's for thirty years, only because it's a family tradition. I'm guilted into it. It's overpriced and woefully short of restrooms, has a limited menu including the usual lobster and steamers, but it also has overcooked chicken and corn-on-the-cob and a terrible salad. We go for the pleasure of sitting outside on the deck, but don't wear shorts unless you want to roam around the cove for an hour or so with checkered thighs from the uncomfortable open-weave metal chairs.
