My Mother lives at Barn Swallow and now there for 16 months. Val and her staff are wonderful and I am so great full for all of them. They truly care for the residents and a family atmosphere is observed whenever I visit. My Mother is well taken care of and I can say this is the best Assisted Living Care home in the Ottawa and Kent County area.
I took a tour of the Barn Swallow Manor facility with Valerie recently. From when you step in the door you can tell people are treated like family. The facility has fewer number of beds allowing for the resident's to build relationships together and with the staff. I appreciate that the staff does not turn over, and the residents see the same faces consistently. Valerie genuinely cares for the residents and it is apparent in just a few minutes of talking with her. Thank you for your care and compassion!

We met Val at a very difficult time, as my mother now needs full time assisted living with dementia. Val's help and guidance through one of the most difficult times has been immeasurable. Her knowledge and experience, advice and compassion for elderly healthcare, all aspects; mental, physical, financial and legal were all priceless.
