One of the cutest little shops in Des Moines!
This was such a darling little spot on the NE side of Des Moines! Upon checking it out, I met the lovely store owner, who helped to walk me through her items and the history of BOV. Throughout my time looking around, multiple customers came in and were treated with the same great personability and customer service. The items were whimsical, quirky, fairly-priced, and laid out in a manner appealing to MCM/vintage fans. I walked out with some adorable robins mugs and a tablecloth, knowing I'd be back to visit very soon! :)
The person that left a 1 star is stupid
Apparently their extremely limited operating hours are only a suggestion. It's 1:55 pm on a Friday and no one in sight yet they're supposed to be open from 1 to 4. Will change my review if I can ever actually catch them when they're open. Drove all the way here on my lunch break for nothing.
