They are the best! I have done six major building projects on my homes and Barn Board Builders are head and shoulders above the rest. They are true craftsman. Every nail is lined up perfectly and they go out of their way to use only the finest material. You only need to mention something once and it is taken care of. The workers have been with them for many years, more than 20 in most cases and they know what to do and how to do it. They added extensions to both sides of my home in East Hampton. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE !!!! These people basically subcontract all the work out - if you do decide to use these which I strongly recommend against then whatever you do GET A CONTRACT SIGNED !!! I made the stupid mistake of not having a contract signed and boy did I regret it - the bills came in every few weeks and none of them were small and not a single bill was itemized, instead they sent an extremely rather conveniently vague "progress report" that just vaguely mentioned what was done - I had even insisted of more accura... read more
